Project Overview

The purpose of of the Tanzania Monitoring and Evaluation Program (TMEP) was to enhance the Implementing Partners Reporting System (IPRS) and conduct Data Quality Assessments (DQAs) for 51 indicators, improving data quality standards and technical rigor.

Project Description

In order to maintain the relevance and access of the IPRS, USAID/Tanzania contracted TMG to conduct DQA reports and recommendations for 51 indicators, aggregate and report quality data for USAID/Tanzania’s activity-level, and allow for the effective use of the IPRS by USAID/Tanzania and IPs. Through technical maintenance and administration of IPRS, the provision of support services to USAID staff and its implementing partners, conduction and compilation of data assessments, and training of MELP staff on functionality and technical aspects of IPRS, TMG ensured that the Mission’s data and technical needs were met.

Key Accomplishments

In pursuit of the goal to enhance and improve the functionalities of the database and improve data quality, TMG’s LMEP project achieved technical maintenance and administration of IPRS, maintaining full functionality, data collection, and access to USAID/Tanzania and its IPs in Tanzania; facilitated data collection by IPs, and aggregated data through IPRS for reporting; conducted DQAs for 51 indicators; and trained M&E contractor staff on functionality and technical aspects of the IPRS.
