Senegal New Country Program Strategy

TMG implemented a demand-driven approach to help address Senegal’s daunting development challenges. Three strategic objectives were designed to support USAID Mission’s goal of “sustainable economic development through broadened social, political, and economic empowerment.” These were as follows: sustainable increase of private sector income generating activties; more effective, democratic, and accountable local management of services and resources; and increased and sustainable use of reproductive health services in the context of decentralization in targeted areas.
