Aquaba Community and Economic Development (ACED) Program

Project Overview
As sub-contractor to The Services Group (TSG), now AECOM, TMG provided expertise in the area of monitoring and evaluation for the Aquaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) in their efforts to develop local business and improve the well-being of local citizens by delivering regulatory, inspection, enforcement, planning policy formulation, and municipal services to clients.
Client: USAID/Jordan
Countries: Jordan
Region: Middle East and North Africa
Project Description
TMG assisted in structuring the M&E Unit, training staff, and overseeing the setting-up of the systems including designing and developing an M&E database and developing PMPs. TMG strengthened performance monitoring systems with respect to established indicators and reporting on program progress. TMG also initiated work with ASEZA’s own M&E system and suggested practical steps that could be taken to revise and improve the existing system for management review of performance of different directorates towards slated goals and sub-goals, particularly linking this with the Finance Directorate, and the linkage between budget and achievement of organizational objectives and goals.
