GBTI II

USAID’s Bureau for Economic Growth, Agriculture, and Trade (EGAT) is charged with addressing development issues by reducing poverty and promoting prosperity in developing and countries in transition. The Economic Growth office in EGAT assists USAID field offices to develop and implement economic growth programs that will raise incomes, end hunger, protect the environment, and equip institutions and people with the knowledge and skills to build equitable and sustainable economies and societies.

TMG’s objectives under this contract are to provide technical and advisory services, training, research, and other services that will assist USAID promote its goals. An important mechanism for achieving these goals is the Support for Economic Growth and Institutional Reform (SEGIR) of which this project falls under the category of Global Business, Trade and Investment II.
